What we collect

Your email address (to sign you in and send receipts), the videos you upload, the clips produced from them, and payment records. If you connect a social account we store an access token for that account and read basic profile info and the statistics of your own videos.

Why

To produce your clips, publish them where you ask, show you how they perform, and bill you. We do not sell data and we do not use your videos to train models.

TikTok, YouTube and other platforms

Access tokens are used only for the actions you request: listing your videos, reading their view and like counts, and posting clips you approve. Tokens are stored on our server with restricted access and deleted when you disconnect the account or delete your balclipperz account. Data received from these platforms is not shared with third parties.

Retention

Uploaded source videos are deleted as soon as clips are produced. Clips are kept for download until you delete them or close your account. Account and billing records are kept as long as your account exists, plus what tax law requires.

Processors

Hetzner (hosting, Germany), Cloudflare (network), Groq (speech-to-text on audio, transient), Stripe (payments). Each only receives what it needs.

Your rights

You can export or delete your data, or disconnect any platform, at any time. Email borkodob@gmail.com and we will act within 30 days.
